I have a gmc yukon. I want the distant start to last longer than 10 actions. Can it be re-programmed for this? Gm limits the run time to 10 minutes, and then stipulation the vehicle isn't entered through afterward, it shuts off. Often it requirements more than 10 minutes. One can start again it remotely again, destined meant for it resolve only run destined for another 10 minutes, and then it won't somewhat resume following with the intention of. Is there a "fix" for this?
Take to a place that installs the starters.... They should be able to program it for 10, 20 or 30 minutes. For the ones who live in warm weather go away, for the other answer.. When you have a heavy frost you will run your car until the frost is detached or take off and take a big chance in being in an accident because you can't see. I have far-away start in 3 of my cars and they are worth every currency they cost on a cold cold, snowy day... And i'll waste any gas that is used.. Usually not much if i want my casement clear so i can see where i'm going.
